About me: Available Mid September, 2012. The rent of $1,100.00 includes utilities which include a cleaning and ‘fixed utilities contribution’ of $150.00. The utilities include cable television and cable internet. The rent also includes such items as toilet paper, bathroom soap, laundry powder and kitchen detergent. First and last months rent to move in. Last months rent can be paid in several installments, if need be. The house is a furnished 3,000 square foot, five bedroom and two bathroom room house in Mar Vista (think South Santa Monica, East Venice). It includes a fully equipped kitchen with separate storage for each person’s food, etc., furnished dining, sitting and family room/television areas (with a 35 inch TV) for common use. The flooring is hardwood and tile. The bedrooms are wired for cable (Time/Warner) and there is free wireless Internet access. There is a washer and dryer and a large, lovely leafy fenced yard with great sunlight and privacy. The house is 2 minutes off the 405 at the Venice exit and three houses from Mar Vista park (soccer, baseball, tennis, dog exercise, basketball, roller hockey, public swimming pool, etc.). It is an easy three mile bike ride to Venice Beach. The house has a large rear yard (currently being landscaped), an outdoor gas BBQ, and plenty of street parking. The street is one of only two streets in Los Angeles that are lined with Liquid Amber Maple trees. There are good neighbors all around. It is a safe, friendly, attractive and convenient living environment. There are Santa Monica big blue bus stops (e.g. to U.C.L.A./SMC) and RTD bus stops close by. There are also Supermarkets, Whole Foods, Starbucks, Post Offices, etc. within a very easy walk (National/Barrington and Sepulveda/Palms. It is a nice, clean, friendly and safe home and area. The available bedroom (13.6’ x 12.6’) also has a separate entrance through French doors which open onto a small private deck, a patio with table and chairs, and then the backyard. This room is obviously great for someone with a small to medium size dog. The room has drapes and is furnished. There is also substantial additional storage space available in the attic if needed. It is a very dog friendly house and canines (except aggressive breeds) may, in principle, be considered. They would have house and yard privileges (and have company most days). However, they must be totally house trained, obedient and not prone to constant barking or howling. The other occupants are ‘landlord G,’ an early 60s gay man who has lived in the house for twelve years. He is an attorney and activist working from his upstairs rooms. He is easy going, liberal, interesting and entertaining. He has a male pug dog. Then there is E, a 32 year old gay spa manager who occupies the middle bedroom in the south wing. Next there is M, a mid 30s straight sales executive. He has a Jack Russell dog. This is an excellent environment in which to live. To be seriously considered you should be clean, considerate, tolerant, fairly neat, pleasant and able to timely pay the rent. If the past is prologue this room will re-rent very quickly.

HE IS VERY PASSIVE & EXTREMELY NEAT HE IS 37Y.O. HE IS SUPPOSED TO COME DOWN EVERY OTHER WEEK HOWEVER BASED ON THE NEEEDS OF HIS BIZ HE RARELY STAYS IN CA SO I WILL TYPICALLY BE ALONE .... I DO WORK FOR A CIGAR DISTRIBUTOR AS A PERSONAL ASSISTANT PART TIME & FOR ANOTHER FAMILY AS A PERSONAL ASSISTANT / HOUSEKEEPER. WITH JUST THESE INCOME WE COVER A RENT OF $650 VERY COMFORTABLY. BESIDES THAT I ALSO HAVE ADVERTISEMENTS FOR HOUSECLEANING ONLINE & BIZ IS GOOD. I AM A GOOD TENANT IF I MAY SAY THAT MYSELF LOL BUT IF THAT ISNT ENOUGH I CAN PROVIDE REFERENCES. I DO ENJOY COOKING ALOT AND I CLEAN UP AFTER MYSELF. I DO SMOKE CIGS BUT NOT INSIDE & KEEP MY PATIO CLEAN NEVER LEAVING BUTTS OR TRASH OUTSIDE. I MIND MY OWN BIZ BUT I MYSELF DO NOT USE ANY ILLEGAL DRUGS AND VERY RARELY I MAY DRINK (HOLIDAYS W THE FAMILY OR A BIG GAME). I EXPECT THAT ALL DEALINGS AND INTERACTION SHOULD AT LEAST BE FAIR & PROFESSIONAL IF NOT FRIENDLY. I ENJOY READING & OFTEN WORK FROM HOME ON MY LAPTOP I ALSO WRITE A BIT RARELY PROFESSIONALLY, JUST A HOBBY, I AM OUTSPOKEN BUT VERY RESPECTFUL I MIND MY OWN BUSINESS AND CAN APPRECIATE THE SOCIAL LANDLORD OR THE QUIET TO-THEMSELVES-TYPES. I FEEL THAT IT SHOULD BE SMOOTH SAILING AT YOUR HOME, SINCE THERE IS NO GARANTEE OF THAT ELSEWHERE. NOR MANY VISITORS EVER REALLY. I DO HAVE A RATHER LARGE DODGE HEMI TRUCK IT DOES NOT LEAK OIL OR HAVE ANY OTHER MESSY ISSUES. I\'M PRETTY HONEST.... ITS JUST EASIER ... & I DONT FEEL ANY1 SHOULD HAVE THE POWER TO PRESSURE ME INTO A FAKE SITUATION SINCE I DONT HAVE MUCH TO HIDE. I DO HAVE A LIL LONG HAIRED CHIHUAHUA FOXY... WHO IS EXTREMELY WELL BE HAVED AND LISTENS WELL SHE IS HOUSEBROKEN & IS AT MY SIDE 24/7. SHE IS IN OUT BUT CAN BE INSIDE FOR LONG PERIODS OF TIME SHE IS A GOOD WATCH DOG BUT HAS NO TEETHING/CHEWING/POTTY ISSUES AND ONLY BARKS WHEN AN UNKNOWN PERSON IS INTRUDING ON HER DOMAIN . PLS BELEIVE ME THIS PUPPY WILL REALLY POSE NO THREAT AT ALL OR BE THE SLIGHTEST BIT OF TROUBLE IF SHE IS AN ISSUE & I CANT FIND A PLACE I DO HAVE A TEMP SPOT FOR HER BUT I WILL MOST LIKELY BE ONLY NEEDING THIS RENTAL TEMP TILL I CAN FIND SOMEWHERE TO ACCEPT HER. About me: Due to family situations i need to move and am looking for someone to take over my rent. You would be sharing the master bedroom and a bathroom. The apartment has two though. Own closet. FULLY furnished apartment (furniture, tv, refrig., microwave, coffee maker,) basically all the essentials except for YOU!! VERY spacious room and apartment. room big enough to fit two full size beds and still have more than enough living space. rent is only $381.25 which includes utilities and parking. Literally a ten minute walk to CSUF many diverse places to eat and grocery stores. One of the best deals you can find as a college student trust me I've checked out EVERY option around CSUF. Low price but in a good area and a nice apartment.
